Steel engraved pocket map with original hand coloring printed on thin “onion skin” paper. States and Territories colored in outline; colors vibrant. Inserts maps of the Isthmus of Panama; United States and Cental America; New England and Eastern New York. Damage to mid-left side, where the map was originally glued onto hard cover. Area missing, professionally restored with blank antique paper. Creases and tears professionally restored with archival tape on verso. Custom framed using archival materials and methodology.
